Is a desert playa remnant of the prehistoric Lake Lahontan, which existed between 18,000 and 7,000 BC during the last Ice Age. The playa stretches for miles of flat cracked desert silt alkaline. I’ve heard that Burning Man is some thing to go and experience in person but when no one is out there you can really get a sense of being alone. Take a look at these photos I’ve taken over the years.
